Region

Sub-Saharan Africa

The high number of projects and partners in Sub-Saharan Africa demonstrates the outstanding importance this region has for IPC. In 2017 alone, we implemented 38 projects in 13 countries here, mostly in our expert areas of development finance and training & skill development. Given the huge impact of climate change in Sub-Saharan Africa, we expect demand for IPC’s environmental and energy-related expertise to grow in the coming years. Agricultural finance and skill development will remain our focus, as the need for such services remains strong.
