Eastern Europe & Central Asia

In strong need of development finance, the transition economies of Eastern Europe have constantly been in IPC’s focus since the mid-1990s, first through a number of large downscaling projects and later within several greenfield initiatives, primarily in Balkan countries. More recently, we again increased our activities in Central Asia and the Caucasus region and shifted our attention towards green finance, training and new approaches in the field of inclusive finance.
